Top Ten Books on My Spring 2021 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every Tuesday, you pick ten books on that weekโ€™s topic. This week, we get to spotlight books we plan to read in Spring 2021. Here are my picks — but not choosing by publication date!

Have you read any of these, or which ones should I prioritize from in here? Which books are on your Spring 2021 TBR?

Do you have different TBRs for each season/ different time periods? Hmm, something to consider. Mine may be called “spring TBR”, but really, it’s for the whole of 2021. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Is that a Betsy-Tacy book? I haven’t read those since elementary school, I think! Sounds like they’re all grown up in this one though. I should do a re-read and continue the series.

I haven’t read this particular Lindsey Davis book but I read a few in her Marcus Didius Falco series and enjoyed them. I would read more but I never find a library that has them.

I hope you enjoy these!

Yeah, apparently the Betsy-Tacy series goes on for 8 books. I haven’t read any of them, but someone suggested I start with Book 5 (where they have grown up), so here they are on my list.

Glad to know the Marcus Didius Falco series were good — this book is about his foster daughter, who it turns out is also a investigator/ spy whatever. Hope it turns out well!

I remember hearing good things about Hardcastle, so yeah that definitely sounds good. I’ve only read the first Briggs book in that series but I was going to read more of ’em. Oh wait I see on second look that the Alpha and Omega books, so not technically the Mercy series but related- if I remember? anyway… yeah :):):)

Yes, the Mercy Thompson series by Briggs is also in the same world as the Alpha & Omega series. And I just finished the 6th book in the series, and it was awesome! Seems to have solved my reading slump for a bit ๐Ÿ™‚

I have read and loved that Wodehouse, many years ago. I definitely need to read more. I stopped when I tried to listen to them, but the British accent was a problem for me – even though this is the English I learned as a French student! But after 20 years in the US, my ears have changed!
I will wait to see what you think about the book by Turton

Interesting. I find I have very little patience for audiobooks these days unless I listen at 1.25x speed. And I’ve definitely not tried a Wodehouse audiobook before — I think I need to check this out ๐Ÿค”

The Robinson Davis book is one of my all time favourites, in fact I really should reread the whole Cornish trilogy sometime soon. The seven deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is also good, very twisty and mind melting but good.

I haven’t read any of these but you’ve got some interesting titles. I think I would probably pick the 7 1/2 book just because I’ve heard a lot of praise for that one. Hope you’ll enjoy them all!
