My TBR pile is a monstrous thing (whose isn’t?) and my reading is more mood reading these days, so for this week’s Top 10 Tuesday, I am just going to pick 10 books that I’m currently reading (or currently planning to read at any rate). Any of these on your radar too?

My list is pretty out of control these days, too. I blame it on too much traveling.
I’m blaming it on the work… and the endless shows I have been watching! 😂
(Also, in case you stop by here again, I’m really not sure how to comment with Disqus over at your blog. Any tips would help!)
Great list, Lex! These are pretty unknown books for me but I do known Kelley Armstrong. Love her books!
I love Armstrong too. Been a fan of her Urban Fantasy (Bitten series) and her Rockton series, so Cainsville is next! *cross fingers*
I’ve heard wonderful things about The Murderbot Diaries.

Same here, eager to discover them for myself!
Quest for a Maid sure looks interesting.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It’s rather old and I found out about it completely by chance. A fellow blogger told me it has an interesting redemption arc, I knew I wanted to read it!
Good list this week! I haven’t heard of any of these, but they sound really interesting.
I hope you enjoy all of these!

I love Murderbot, and recently finished a re-read of the series. I hope you enjoy it!
Omens is one of the Armstrong books I’m unsure about, but I do have her A Stitch in Time on my TBR (where it has been for quite a while) and I hope to get to it soon.

I really liked Stitch in Time (its sequel, not so much), I hope you’ll give it a try. Or if you like thrillers – then her Rockston series is amazing.
I’ve had the Murderbot Diaries on my TBR list for forever! I still need to read those. And Here Be Dragons looks like a fun read. Good luck getting out of your reading slump! They’re the worst.
Thanks Lark, really hope those blues go away soon…
Oh my gosh I love that Murderbot cover! I haven’t seen that one… and since I still have books 4 and 5 yet I should just reread the earlier novellas so I’m up to speed.
As an aside if you’ve never read this it’s very Murderbot- like and honestly I thought it was pretty good.

I’ve had Murderbot on my TBR since forever. I really don’t know why I haven’t gotten around to it yet…. But yeah, that cover is awesome! Thanks for sharing the link, let me go check it out!
None of these are on my radar, except Murderbot. I read those and love them. Read them, they are so much fun!
I know — maybe I keep getting stuck on the fact it is called “Murder”bot! 😂
This list looks like a fun one. Some of those books looks really ominous. I like those. I hope you enjoy reading them.
Haha, well spotted. If I am being honest, mostly I like the ominous seeming ones the best! 😀
Murderbot is SO good and enjoyable!! I hope you enjoy it. I’m such a big mood reader and totally understand that aspect.
Pretty much every comment on this thread is to go read Murderbot. Clearly, it’s that good!
I haven’t read or even heard of any of these before, BUT THE COVERS ALL LOOK GORGEOUS!!! Hope you enjoy them ❤️❤️

Yep, and I think my favorite is the one for Vanished Days. Thanks for stopping by, Anoushka!
Nope, none of these are on my radar – I actually don’t recognize any of them.
I’m in the mood for mood reading…. But there is precious little time to get any reading done at all at the moment!
Hope you are doing well..
Elza Reads
I do want to read the Joan Aiken, I’ve heard good things about it.
Kelley Armstrong has been on my TBR for a while. Hope you’ll enjoy all of these!
I’ve only read two of the Murderbot Diaries but really enjoy them and I’m not a huge science fiction reader. I keep saying that I’m going to read more of Susanna Kearsley’s books and somehow never do. There are just too many books out there! I haven’t heard of Castle Barebane but the word “Gothic” always catches my eye. I do love a good Gothic book.
Hope you enjoy ALL of these! I used to see a booktuber talk about Susanna’s books a lot, and haven’t read them lately. 🙂 Hope you enjoy.
I just got to The Vanished Days in late May – was saving it for the right occasion, I suppose, and enjoyed it.
Weirdly, I just picked up at a library book sale the sequel to Omens. I read a few pages, then decided it wasn’t going to work unless I found the book before it (now on reserve at the library).
I read Quest for a Maid years ago but do not remember it, except that it is well worth reading. I am sure I have read Castle Barebane although do not recall it either. And I mostly like Christianna Brand.
Castle Barebane is definitely shouting out at me – ‘gothic’ – I can’t resist.
