This week’s Top 10 Tuesday topic is a very cool one: Books with Geographical Terms in the Title. I had a lot of fun looking up book titles with world geography terms.
I guess the titles and book covers are self explanatory. Except for The Bride of Lammermoor, where the reference is not to any “moor” as I’d originally thought, but to the Lammermuir Hills.
Any interesting geographical places that you uncovered this Tuesday?

Nice list. Although I haven’t read any of these books, most these covers are gorgeous and interesting looking.

This is another fantastic list of books I’ve never read.

Oh, Valley of Fear is a great choice! I should have thought of that one for my TTT list this week. Though it’s not one of my favorite Sherlock Holmes books, TBH. But, it’s still good!
An interesting looking list.
Have a great week!

Congrats on even including a title with 2 geographical terms in it!!
I have only read the books by Conan Doyle and Wells.

Great list, you have some unique titles here!
Hi Lex!
I started watching the adaptation for Picnic at Hanging Rock, but never actually finished it. The rest of your books I don’t recognize! But I am very happy that you had so much fun compiling your list.
Hope you are doing well and thanks for the frequent visits!
Lots of Love,

You came up with not only some awesome titles, but they’ve all got such gorgeous and intriguing covers!
I love how all of these immediately make me want to transport to these worlds! Great picks this week.
The City in the Lake looks very interesting.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Fun selection of books for this week’s TTT! I read Picnic at Hanging Rock earlier this year and I love McKillip’s The Bard’s of Bone Plain. 😀
Great word choices! This is the firs time I’ve seen The Island of Doctor Moreau on a list. I always see its counterpart The Daughter of Doctor Moreau. I know the second one wouldn’t work this week. I’m just saying it’s nice to see the original.

That is so cool you used that Dr. Moreau cover- I actually had a draft post for this topic and was going to use that very one! I didn’t end up doing the post though, but still… great minds! 🙂
Twinsies on Mythago Wood. Also I really need to read more McKillip.
Now this is a great selection of books—and I see a couple that would have fit for my list but I didn’t even think of them! Did you read/enjoy Swamplandia!? I read Russell’s collection of stories, Vampires in the Lemon Grove, and really liked it, but haven’t gotten around to any of her other work yet.
I’ve only read Mythago Wood and The Island of Doctor Moreau from your choices, but this looked like an easy fun TTT challenge, from what you and others have done.
Great list! And ooh, a McKillip book I hadn’t heard of before. Actually, I’m learning that I know very few of her books. I really need to remedy that.
Thanks for introducing these to me! I’m adding some of these to my tbr.
All of these are some really great looking titles! And how lovely is the cover of The Bards of Bone Plain? I love it!
I haven’t actually read any of these but I wish I had participated in this meme – I can think of quite a few:
Mystic River
The Valley of Adventure
Journey to the River Sea
Over Sea Under Stone
Secret Water
I guess I could go on but I swore I would go the gym tonight. I am reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin which I recommend to you.
