The SciFiMonth Challenge for 2023 is being hosted by A Dance With Books,Β BookForager, Dear Geek PlaceΒ and Thereβs Always Room For One More.
I’ve read only a handful of science fiction books till date, so I was very wary of signing up. But oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Here’s a list of scifi books languishing on my TBR pile since… forever… but maybe I can at least chomp off one of them by end of November!

If I wasn’t doing Nonfiction November I would love to participate too. I always say I want to read more science fiction and then I don’t. But hopefully I’ll come across great titles on the blogs participating!
I’m in a bit of the same books with not being a huge sci-fi reader, but I’m hoping this month I’ll be motivated to clear some of the ones I’ve picked up and never gotten around to.
I read mostly SF, so this challenge topic would be pointless for me. I hope you have a lot of fun and I keep my fingers crossed that you live Murderbot as much as I do!
Dooms Day Book is one of my all time favorites! I hope you enjoy it! Sci-Fi Month is always a ton of fun. π
I never used to read much sci-fi yet here we are. π I think Sci-Fi Month can be a good place to find different kinds of SciFi and because we read together it helps to pick it up more. I found SciFi like Becky Chambers but also Failure to Communicate because of the community. I hope you enjoy Murderbot!
Happy reading! I hope you can find some science fiction that you enjoy. Murderbot is always a good choice in my opinion. I’ve enjoyed Willis’ Doomsday Book, but it is definitely a topic (the Black Death) which might be heavier to read. I’m hoping to read her Road to Roswell soon too, but I don’t know if I’ll get to it this month or not.
Murderbot is nice and they’re short. I think some of the excellent SF novellas lately are a great way to dip in the waters…
