This TTT is making me smile so much guessing at what’s behind each of these titles. On your list, I’m sorry I’m late, I didn’t want to come speaks to me so much!

Great list! I had Eleanor Oliphant on mine when I made a quick list, but somehow forgot to include it when I finally wrote the post. In any case, it’s a great choice. ๐Ÿ™‚ Death Comes to Pemberley was so good!

I love the variety on the TTT lists this week! Other than Eleanor Oliphant, which I’ve seen on a few lists, there are surprisingly few duplicates. Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want to Come sounds like a book I really need to pick up. I feel that title so much sometimes.

My TTT this week

I love the title of Sorry Iโ€™m Late, I Didnโ€™t Want to Come. That’s totally something I’d say! It made me laugh ๐Ÿ™‚

Likewise! The narrator is an introvert who hates going to parties, and tries to think of all kinds of excuses — till one day she decides to just go for it!

So much fun! I am familiar with most of your titles, but alas, haven’t read any!!
Too bad I had already something scheduled on my blog for today, that I couldn’t move, and I don’t like publishing twice the same day.
One title I would definitely have listed is The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, which I have read several times and so enjoyed

I like PEmberley and We Are All Completely beside Ourselves. Love Is the Drug too and that makes me totally think of the Roxy Music song. ๐Ÿ™‚

A great assortment! The only one I have actually read is Eleanor Oliphant which I began reluctantly but ended up really liking.

I don’t know why I have never got into P.D. James and you’d think Death Comes to Pemberley would be right up my alley. I even tried the miniseries, which had an actress from The Bletchley Circle I liked as the heroine, but I felt she was swallowing her lines and was hard to understand, so gave up.

Ooh yes, I think Anna Maxwell Martin is a fabulous actress. I loved her in Bleak House adaptation too. You’re right, she did come across as fairly inaudible in Death Comes to Pemberley, but I remember she improves later and I liked the show overall.

I love toing through these various lists from other bloggers. I also had “I know why the caged bird sings” on my list of potential candidates but there were so many and I knew someone would mention them, so thanks.

My TTT.
