It’s a freebie for this Top 10 Tuesday, which means I have no clever idea for making yet another list. So, I’m just going with the top 10 TBR books that I still want to read this year. We are already past the halfway mark, folks! But I still have high hopes…
Any of these on your list? Any of these that you recommend starting first?

Good luck with your TBR for the rest of the year! I would recommend the Jodi Taylor book, it was surprisingly fun and entertaining. I’ve read some of the Dorothy L Sayers’ series a long time ago. I enjoyed it, but not sure the first book was my favourite.
Yes, I’ve heard Sayers’ first book is not a great start – I’m hoping to still try via BBC radio audiobook version. And thanks for letting me know about the Jodi Taylor book, looks like a fun place to start!
I’m rooting for you. Good luck!
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I hope you enjoy them!
I love the Kinsey Milhone series! It’s one I need to finish soon.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I gasped at Ninth House. It’s one of my favorite books of all time! 😀
Good luck getting to these books! Honestly, I would personally start with whatever one is shortest or looks like the easiest read. (Audiobooks work well for that.) For me, getting to cross a book off the list gives me an extra motivation bump to keep going.

I haven’t read any of these but love the cover of The Moor Child.
Dark of the Gods reminds me of some of the later Elric covers. The Moorchild looks very compelling too.
I really do want to read Ninth House but I haven’t bought it yet! I also really, REALLY hate the cover for Hell Bent which turns me off buying it haha.
I’ve wanted to start the Sue Grafton series for a long time. I’m slowly collecting them on my Nook when eBook deals pop up.
Looks like you’ve got a nice TBR list for the rest of the year! I’m definitely going to have to recommend Ninth House, since that’s the only one I’ve read from this list, but also because it’s really really good.
I haven’t read any of these. I hope you enjoy them all!
Happy TTT!

This looks like a fun TBR. I hope you get to read them all soon.
Here’s my TTT post.
I love Ninth House 🙂 Hope you’ll enjoy all of these!
I think Big Bad is the only Lily Anderson novel I haven’t read. I hope you enjoy all these!
I liked Ninth House though it’s definitely very slow going to begin with, but I haven’t read the sequel Hell Bent yet.

Dark of the Gods and The Moorchild looks great, love the vintage covers.
Good luck with your TBR and happy reading
The Jodi Taylor series has been recommended to me but I could not get past the first chapter and had to return it to the library.
I say, start with the Dorothy Sayers. It is not her best but it is definitely worth reading.
I liked Leigh Bardugo’s earlier series and gave this book to my sister but am not sure she felt it was as strong as the YA novels.
A very interesting selection! Good luck! The Mark Twain looks tempting.
Ooh, I hadn’t heard of Big Bad! I’m going to have to look that up asap!
