I love all of these reasons! I used to use my books at work to avoid talking to my co-workers during breaks as much as I used them to keep my brain busy.

Hi Lex!! Aaaah I love your post and it was just what I needed today! I’m so fed up with blogger and all the stupid updates. And then we sometimes forget why we love blogging – because we first love reading. And yes!! I love it more than anything else. Don’t tell Elza. She won’t be happy!

Oh yes to avoiding situations – sometimes, if I’m reading on the way home – and I see somebody I know get on the bus/train I stick my head into the book and hope they don’t spot me. I know that’s really bad but that’s precious reading time.
