Wyrd & Wonder is a super cool reading challenge for May 2021, hosted at There’s Always Room for One More.
You can read your chosen TBR fantasy books (or watch fantasy shows) across this month …
… OR you can respond to a set of challenge prompts …
… OR you can play a Book Bingo:
There’s also a readalong for The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Stewart with weekly discussions.
Clearly, spoiled for choices! I wanted to sign-up with a stricter list, but I never stick to those anyway. So, slow but steady does it for me. See if you want to participate too in Wyrd & Wonder 2021, looks like loads of fun!

Welcome to the party π
Thanks for hosting it. It looks like so much fun!
Someday I will participate in this event!
I’ve realized that I need to push myself to read my (TBR) books, else I am just going to end back into a reading slump …
I’m hoping to do some things for this. I have to admit a book bingo does look fun! π
Awesome, look forward to your W&W posts!
Sounds like fun, especially the prompts! Not joining this time though, I have too much on my plate already.
My first time hearing about this challenge. The prompts really do seem amazing! I hope this doesn’t turn out to be another challenge I sign up for and then get lazy about.
This sounds like a great challenge! I have so many yearly challenges on my plate, I’m going to pass this time though. I like that the Book Bingo board encourages so many diverse choices. Good luck!
Hallo, Hallo Lex,
Welcome, welcome to your first experience with #WyrdAndWonder!! π We’re thankful you’ve joined us for our fourth year!! π You’ll find 2x reviews released on my blog and my Year 4 Intro Post as well. I have nearly daily reviews forthcoming with some creatively inspired posts to tackle the prompts and I know I want to do some book photos for #booktwt as well! The bingo card really had me swooning as I LOVE bingo cards – quite obssessed with them lol Plus I’m joining my first group RAL – however which way you join us, we’re thankful you gave us a lovely s/o on your blog!!
PS: Whenever you use the banner, kindly remember to add the attribution Imyril includes on the footer of her blog. The graphics she created for the event need to have that attribution in order to be shared/used on your blog posts.
Thanks, Jorie.
Sorry — I’m not able to figure out the attribution. Do you mean the Pegasus image credit to Svetlana? That’s already there at the end of the post. And for the Pegasus banner and the Bingo, I took the images (with host names at the base) from https://onemore.org/2021/03/09/wyrd-and-wonder-2021/#banners. Could you please direct me again to the specific image credits that I’ve missed? Really want to highlight it properly! π
Hallo, Hallo Lex,
Hmm… That’s strange! I was on a different computer when I first read this post and it didn’t show the attribution you put at the footer of the post – forgive me – you have it just right! You have everything stated just fine and I apologise I couldn’t see that line at the footer on my first visit.
Haha, no worries at all. I don’t like to miss out on the accreditation, the artwork and the whole challenge is so well done, so wanted to check again. Thanks a ton!
