Itβs time forΒ The Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge, hosted byΒ Long and Short Reviews. The topic for August 4, 2021 isΒ Meet My Pets.
It’s a lifelong desire for me to bring home a pet dog. Perhaps some day I shall! So, I have no images to share for now, but I do have some fabulous links about pets that steal the show.
First, look up the YouTube channel by MochaMilk. This YouTuber has two wonderful dogs, though I’m partial towards the Samoyed named Wooyoo (meaning milk in Korean). I just adore this dog, and the videos are always shot so well.
Another YouTube channel is Life with Malamutes. They are giant fuzzballs, so close to their wolfish ancestors. I love Phil the most, and here’s a video of them doing some food-tasting.
I’d recommend the movie Hachiko, on the off chance that you’ve not seen it. It’s a moving tale about a dog that waited for his best friend, years after even his family had moved on. The dog here is the Japanese Akita, and he’s beautiful.

I hope your dream will become reality someday! I have a mini zoo with a dog (french bulldog that I adopted last year), a bunny, 2 parakeets and 1 canary.
Sheesh, all of those! I’m wondering if keeping them in control is as tough as I imagine it. Haha. I’m glad you have such a huge pet family, it sounds wonderful.

I literally cried myself to sleep after seeing Hatchiku. It was beautiful, but I’ll never ever watch it again!

Haha, yes, I know all about them, those cats that star on your blog. Love them loads, even if it’s just online! You’re right, Hachi made me cry too, but I still love that movie and that dog. It’s true love. π
I love Samoyeds and Malamutes! All the northern breeds really. π I had an American Eskimo for many years (much smaller dog but very similar in appearance) and he was a wonderul companion. I love how enthusiastic the Samoyed is in that video. they truly are snow creatures. π

I would love a malamute, but I don’t think my cats would agree.

For Hachi, you have to keep a tissue box ready on the side but it’s worth it.
I hope you’re able to rescue a dog one day! I’ve never had pets and would love to have a dog one day. I do enjoy some puppy videos when I need to smile π Have you ever watched Life with Labradors on YouTube? They have the cutest puppies. Thank you for sharing these and will have to check them out.
Looks like you and I are in the same pet boat. π Life with Labradors sounds like excellent therapy! Labrador pups are the cutest (and why do they always look kinda sad?).
